Fractional
Chief Marketing Officer fee

Here are some interesting facts: (1) A significant sum of money spent on marketing is making a few media conglomerates richer (2) The Marketing tech stack is becoming more complex and there are at least 8000 solutions to choose from (3) Agencies are masters of tactics and they eventually work for your retainer & don't have skin in the game (4) A B2B CMO gets replaced every 3.5 years. It is the lowest average tenure amongst all CXOs. 

So what do you do?

Fractional CMO is a model of engagement where you hire me as a CMO for a fixed period to do your grunt work. It could mean setting up processes and marketing tech stack; aligning teams to your NorthStar metric; launching a product with GTM or implementing growth marketing strategies. It is a hassle-free, low-cost model where you don't have to onboard a full-time CMO. Maybe I will even help you find your CMO within your budget and requirements. The fee for this will depend entirely on the scope. To give you an idea, my per-hour *fee as of today is

USD 80 (INR 6250) for long-term projects.

Project based fee

In this model, I get hired to work with you on a project with a very specific outcome. I do marketing audits, codify culture, build your brand, conduct user research, etc basis your requirements. The *fee for this will depend entirely on the scope.

To give you an idea, my per-hour *fee as of today is

USD 80 (INR 6250) for long-term projects.

I insist on signing an NDA and an agreement.

Day fee

I get hired for a day to represent my client in meetings; help them conduct user interviews; define a small process; negotiate with potential partners and technology solution providers, etc.

The *fee per day for projects is USD 380 (INR 30,000).

A day is defined as 9 full working hours without break. 

I insist on signing an NDA and an agreement.

Hourly fee

I get hired by the hour to have freewheeling chats on the complexity of nature of businesses or processes founders face. While there are no immediate and easy solutions - I offer a simple framework or method that is rooted in insight or belief. 

The *fee per hour is

USD 127 (INR 10,000).

Recruiting marketing team fee

Stakeholders often mishire or hire too early or hire too late. 90% of business problems are recruiting problems which demands a nuanced understanding of a function like marketing. I will help you in setting up the right team within the business and cultural context of the problem you are trying to solve.

The fee will depend on the scope.

Mentoring or leading workshops fee

I get hired to mentor existing talent in an organisation. Your team may not be motivated or may lack skillset or may not be a fit to the mindset you want to harbour. I can help through 1:1 coaching or by leading workshops depending on the situation. Not everything that is broken needs to be fixed.

The fee will depend on the scope.
